A lot of these “facts” are urban myths and have been disproved, like the goldfish one, polar bears being left handed, 2 words rhyme with purple: herpel – to walk with one leg dragging behind the other, and curple – the hindwuarters of a horse. Likewise rhino horn is made of keratin as is hair, so too are fingernails, just because it is the same compound doesn’t mean it is compacted hair any more than your nails.

I’m sure there are other mistakes but those were the first I noticed.

The one about eating 8 spiders in your life time is also wrong. It was made up by a journalist who wanted to prove the theory that people will believe anything they read if they read it in a reputable source so she made up that fact and printed it in a scientific journal and now it is widely (and wrongly) believed as true.

Also scientist recently did an experiment involving goldfish that proved their memories are at least 2 weeks long!

The Speaker of the House most certainly can speak, most often heard calling “Order” and asking the members to settle down. He also indicates who is next to speak or reply by calling their constituency name out. So that, along with about 80% of the list, is total bollocks.
